Q. What if my flight is delayed and I go over my pre-booked parking period?
A. You can pay for any additional parking time on your return.
Q. Do I need to hand my keys in?
A. No, we operate a ‘self-park’ policy, which means you park in the space you want, and keep your own keys.
Q. Are there any disabled facilities?
A. Disabled parking spaces are located at the front of the car park, they are subject to availability.
Q. Is there a maximum car size, or any height restrictions?
A. We have no height restrictions in this car park, however please not we do not allow trailers, or coaches in this car park. Any vehicles requiring more than one space must make a booking via the Parking Services Team, in advance, on 01325 331008
Q. What happens after I have made my booking?
A. You will receive an on screen confirmation, detailing booking reference and instructions, please print this page for your records as you’ll need this information at the airport. We will also send you a confirmation email.
Q. What payment methods are accepted for pre booking?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and AMEX for pre-booking. We are unable to accept any other form of payment via this website.
Q. I need to change my booking, what do I need to do?
A. You can change your booking dates up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival at the Car Park via the online ‘Manage my Booking’ tool. We don’t charge an administration fee for changes! Please note, some products such as Price Buster are non-amendable – this is clearly displayed on the car park description page at the time of booking.
Q. I need to cancel my booking, what do I need to do?
A. You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival at the Car Park via the online ‘Manage my Booking’ tool. However, please note we charge a £5.00 administration fee for cancellations. Please note, some products such as Price Buster are non-refundable – this is clearly displayed on the car park description page. Additionally, we cannot process any cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled arrival at the Car Park and no refunds will be made in such circumstances.
Q. My vehicle details have changed what do I do?
A. You can update/amend your vehicle details free of charge up to 48 hours before your parking commences, via the online ‘Manage my Booking’ tool.

Q. What do I do upon arrival?
A. Durham Tees Valley Airport parking operates a credit card recognition system. Please ensure that you remember which debit or credit card you made the booking with and bring it with you to speed up your parking process. On arrival at the airport, please drive up to the car park entry barrier. Do not press the ticket button. Insert your debit or credit card in the entry barrier which will recognise your details from your online booking and allow you to enter the car park. Please bring a copy of this booking confirmation with you when arriving at the airport. If you do not have the card used to make the booking OR your card is not recognised, please do not insert a different card. Take a ticket to raise the barrier. Then please find a space to park and retain the ticket.
Q. What do I do on my return from holiday?
A. Upon your return to the airport after your flight, make your way straight to
your car and drive to the exit barrier. Please insert the same credit or debit card in the barrier as you used when you arrived (the credit or debit card you booked with). This will allow you to exit the car park quickly and without hassle. Otherwise, If you took a ticket upon entry, press the intercom button on the exit barrier and quote your booking reference. Although you no longer need your booking confirmation voucher, you are advised to bring it in case there is a system failure.

Q. How do I get to the car park?
A. Durham Tees Valley Airport is best accessed from A67 and can be easily accessed from the A1, A19 and A66. From the A67, take the airport roundabout, signposted for the airport. Follow the road over the railway bridge. When you come to the next roundabout follow signs for the On Airport parking.
Q. How are parking charges calculated on this website?
A.Pre booked Parking is charged per day or part thereof. For example if you are travelling on a Monday and returning the following Monday you will be charged for both Mondays. All prices shown are in GBP and include VAT at 20%. All pre-booked car parking charges are subject to a £2.50 booking fee. Car park charges will also vary according to;
- The time of year
- Location in regards to the terminal
- How far in advance you make your booking.
Q. Why is there no availability for the dates I am trying to book?
A. This could be because;
- The car park is fully booked for all or part of your stay
- You do not meet the booking conditions for that product
- Discounted products such as Price Buster are only available for certain dates and have a fixed allocation of spaces for these dates.
Q. Will my car be safe?
A. All our car parks are official, On Airport and managed by Durham Tees Valley Airport. We offer high levels of security, with high-tech CCTV systems, electronically controlled entry and exit barriers, and 24/7 monitoring. Furthermore, all our car parks have all been awarded the Park Mark award for safer parking so you can have the security of knowing your car will be safe whilst you are away. Cars are always parked at their owners' own risk, subject to the terms and conditions of the car park.
